mine look allot like yours except the marans egg I have a pink and a chocolate colour one
but average 13 to 14 and 3 or 4 Silky a day now
 
View attachment 1247218 My 6 Isbar girls are laying 6 a day top row, cream Legbar getting 4or5 a day out of 10 girls second row, getting a few blue eggs from my ameraucana girls and first little black copper marans egg third row and I put a cream Legbar egg at the bottom from one of the year old girls it's 2 ounces just large. All the new girls are about 4.5 months old.
Real nice color on your BCM. How many BCM hens do you have. I'm in Brewster WA. Tom
 
I'm sitting here impatiently waiting for a silkie to go broody so I can set eggs. I'm looking forward to some more little white chicks.

The currently broody hens have been sitting too long and should be coming off the nests soon.

might have to borrow a cockerel to get mine broody 13 from my big girls 4 from the Silky crew.. if I am able to figure out hat eggs are from my Americana I will put them to the broody if one actually does

This time of year, it's a bit early for pullets to play the broody card. Give them a month or two of laying.

Seems like it's the ones who start laying mid summer that don't lay much before setting

Boy they have you well trained.

I spent weeks shoving boys into their house at night before they got the idea. They put themselves to bed now.

Tonight was beak filing for a pullet. She went to bed upset with me.
