I checked on them and grabbed one of the chicks out from under Pumice. Set it by the food and water but it's not that long out. All of the hens called for it to come back, then Pumice and another got up to fetch it.

I only got bitten twice. Not by Pumice. She's a sweetheart

3 culls based off toes already. Hopefully they are girls so there will be a possible home for them.

Too many or too few.

One has a foot with only 4 toes. Two of them have 6 toes on a foot

Only one keeps trying to bite me. I've never had any hen so aggressively take chicks. Most need to have the chicks under them for a bit. The one has only been broody for less than a week
