Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Hi All,
Newbie looking for people close to Walla Walla to visit with and learn from. I had chickens on the farm as a kid and always wanted to try quail and eggs. I know I like quail already but want to give eggs a shot. See some great pics and recipes on the net so cant hardly wait:pop

Barnabeilafeldervelders.JPG barnebeilafeldervelders 2.JPG Barnabeilefeldervelder chicks !
Beilafelder Hen in with the Silver Barnefelder cock.JPG In foreground is the Beilefelder Hen being bred to the Silver Barnevelder Cock. Should have some awesome layers out of this breeding. The Beilefelder Cocks were never interested in mating. I bought Beil eggs from all over the country & even had a cockerel shipped from California...none were into mating. Now I have friends asking for cockerels because they are having no luck with their Beil males either. Weird !!
The Barnevelder is more than happy to take care of this hen, and any others !

I actually have quite a bit of sq ft of the 12 mil green house plastic left over, I ordered extra, so maybe doing a hoop frame/greenhouse with the cattle panels, for a green house .

my 12 ml plastic did not last a year here on my greenhouse I have large slits that I have taped
