I have 5 white silkies. 3 black. And around 50 partridge at the moment.

The little normal feathered things are half silkie

I had one of my minions trying to eat my toes tonight.

The little black menace will run up to me. Stand there foot dancing until he has my attention and then bite my foot if I ignore him.

Found out there IS a rooster that he is afraid of. Ashes chased him off and he ran scared

I'm starting to like cattle panels a lot for hooped buildings.

Actual buildings work better through

They are heavy, expensive and hard to haul unless you have the right truck/trailer, but yes they go up fast & easy !
I wish the holes in them were smaller, like racoon/possum proof.

Yup, the blessed event has occured...and this is day 33 now..........so far I see 4 goslings and about 20 unhatched eggs. This goose is 1 year old, laid FOREVER but did not make any move to sit, so alot of her eggs were about 3-4 weeks old when she finally set. I was actually just about to haul them all off to the dump lest they explode....too late she was setting. Of all places, right in front of the walk in door to the Old Coop...we have several coops here, she chose this one to nest at. I had to put up fence wire so I could get in & out of the coop without the goose getting me....
