Hey, Tom here. Penny how many eggs from Guy did you set. You got 4 live chic? Did they hatch from the darkest eggs or some of each? Do you check the ones that did not hatch, to see why? You put the day old chics under the broody hen and then she raises them, is this correct? I am doing everything with an incubator, outside brooder, and separate pens. How long before you can identify the cocks and hens? Thanks TOM

I picked up 14 from him 4 hatched I pulled the plug on the bator last night
new smell coming from it .. I would had preferred to let the silkies hatch them they had just come out of broody raising two other peeps .. I put eggs in the 1st from guy
I do know 4 died in the shell
