not real certain type he is looking for I am not a goose minded person have pumpkin, zucchini, crookneck and cucumbers throwing vines all over oh what fun love it have two almost zucchini already

They were looking for Embden geese I think. I have a couple of pumpkin mounds going strong the crooked necks and a winter squash got hammered by gophers dang it although I set traps and got both of those and replanted. The rest of the garden is in raised beds with hardware cloth on the bottoms lerned the hard way on those also, gophers ravaged the raised beds the first year then put on the hardware cloth that sucked had to dig all the dirt out put on hardware cloth put all of it back in have 9 large raised beds.

I am certain I have monster zuchinni lurking under all of their leaves...they always manage to hide from me until they are 2 foot long ! The chickens love them !
So many breed projects going on here, the Silver bielefelders and Silver barnevelders projects are going great....I retired my Exchequer Ameraucana project even though it was doing great, just have too much to do, so I sold them to a friend, they are laying fantatstic big blue eggs !
The green house all done is working perfectly, cucumbers, egg plant & a few tomatoes in there, and Basil of course. Now I get to gut the mini barn & remodel it for my art studio........ ! YIPPEE!! In between festivals & art shows of course....summer is busy!

Ya been enlarging the cockerel coop may end up moving the 4 Silky to it now save the larger one as a grow out but took all the fence down there Silky can only be in the tractor when outside due to our lovely three that still look at them as lunch

I'd give you a silkie rooster to help protect them, but my boys cant see any better than the girls.

no my girls are good but thanks for the concern I am going a bit daffy my damn ameracauna went broody again but will not set on silky eggs as in the marans eggs not looking to have other hatched in whatever days maybe the one marans in here from the hatch of the first ones from Guy is a cockerel I am beginning to think that although the one I have is great to the girls he is shooting blanks
