Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Hello Washington Peeps!

I have a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte bantam cockerel that was born on 3-14-18 and we need to rehome him. He just started crowing on 6-24-18 and roosters aren't allowed in Seattle. Let me know if you are interested in this beautiful boy or if you know of someone who might be.

Thanks!
Kimi

Welcome to backyard chickens great to have you join us sorry but have you considered taking the bird to auction

Setting up breeding group. I want a few more silkies the color of the hens. All the offspring should carry a copy so next generation would give me more.

Welcome to the group.

Sorry I can't help with the rooster issue. Well unless you want more of them.

Went shopping this morning in Olympia at Costco on the way home was talking to Son said found a hidden nest up in some hazelnut bushes in the chicken yard about 28 eggs but most had sunk in the bowl some very old.. 11 in the coop.. and had crazy white dog found her way into the chicken yard the very cockerel my lavender ameracauna boy I thought to cull as sterile maybe lead her to him, him calling to his girls to run.... No punctures but feathers from tail to back gone not showing meat though.. I can check him better tonight actually put hand on him what a good boy cooked up large 36 eggs 3 cups of oatmeal will separate in dishes make sure he gets a good quantity in the morning

Hi! New to this thread! Recommended here from a thread I posted. I'm from SW Washington, specifically Vancouver.

We've got 4 coops going, currently building mega coop, where we'll hopefully integrate our girls together. I've just started with my girls, so they're all separated currently - but we've got Russian Orloffs in one coop/run, then another we got a nice random assortment of Ameraucana/EE, red laced wyandotte, Andalusian, silver cuckoo marans. Plus some babies inside still. They're all super social! Especially Beau, shes the most friendly orloff. Here is a few of our girls!
