It's raining here, or was, the snow isn't melting quickly though.

Not supposed to start snowing here again till 5:00 or 6:00pm. Probably only have around a foot or so of snow here but the snow drifts were crazy with all the snow blowing out of my 6 acre field in and around all my structures with drifts.

agree with Richard not going anywhere gonna go look for eggs again only 2 been using the silky eggs gave all the rest to customers

It’s snowing here again the chickens are getting tired of it egg numbers are slowly dropping been around 29 to 27 from what was at least 35 a day.

Mine a growing getting up to 9 yesterday not counting the silky eggs in that

My girls didn't note it, but I have 10 pullets that just started laying in Jan.

I have a few waiting on but not that many like 6 may have a few of my originals aging out but being 4 they should be alright still

I have about 3 going to be 4 years old this year. Still laying 4 or 5 eggs a week, but 2 of them go broody once a year and I let them raise the chicks until they're ready to let them go so they have a good 2-3 months off for that. Every year they like to keep their chicks longer.

Oddly enough my big girls in the main coop do not go broody had one ameracauna that did sold her at auction I have 4 silky I use as broodies
