Just found this thread and I'm really happy that there's a Washington thread.

Any guesses on the size of the egg on the left its from a golden sexlink from Dunlap hatchery she is 2 1/2 years old and has been laying 2.7 to 3 ounce eggs for about 3 months now. They are pretty much 2 year birds then they normally stop they lay xl eggs most of there life and pretty much every day. The egg on the right is from a blue Marans she drops this size egg pretty regularly it’s 2.7 ounces.

This was dropped the other day by one of girls not super certain of who a very nice double yoker

That’s a long one the big one in my picture was 3.9 ounces I think that’s the biggest one I have ever had.

That poor red sex link keeps laying those big eggs I’m afraid she is going to die or have a prolapse. Another big one today 3.5 ounces. Ouch

I’m so excited to find this thread! We have 4 gals and live in Snohomish County. They will be six month old Sunday and we just had one lay her first egg yesterday! I was bummed she didn’t lay a seccond today with all the sun, haha! Excited to read through!
