For Kiki-What I tell people when they say they are nervous, is don't tell anyone you are! Also they will ask what you would do if a customer was irate- if they do, just tell them you would listen to what they have to say, and if you can fix it you will. Also, say if someone asks you a question that you cannot answer, tell the customer,"I don't know, but I will find someone who does."

I'm hoping that if I do get hired, I'm able to choose a shift but I'll still take whatever is available.
I was glad it's the one we shop at every week.

Good morning! Hope everyone has/is having a wonderful day!

Not sure if I already mentioned but I have an interview today at 5pm. So nervous even though I've been to a few interviews before. It's for Cashier at WinCo Foods. Funny enough, my parents will be shopping there while I'm in my interview since it's grocery night so they'll be picking me up before heading there.

Just got to get my side shave fixed before the interview. Looks like I got grass growing on my head and I hate it. Not in color, just the way it sticks up.

With customers, you just be polite to them no matter how much some make you want to strangle them. The problem ones you find someone higher ranked to help with.

At least it isn't a bookstore. "I'm looking for a book. The cover is red and it has a girl on it." "I'm looking for a book about a mystery. I read 30 years ago." "Why are all those books about witchcraft by the bibles. They are evil. You need to get rid of them." There was the time someone moved all the bibles from Religion and Philosophy into the Sex and Health section.

We had such weird things that people would do and ask. The wanting us to find a book solely based on a partial description of the book cover got old very quickly. It was probably the most asked thing.

Btw the bible is the most stolen book.

Freaking out teens trying to sneak looks at the books in the sex and health section was hilarious. My husband says I need to wear a bell because I move very quietly. So I'd just walk up behind them and ask if they needed help finding anything. So many shrieks. So much embarrassment.

Hey guys, I know I'm reposting this, but I'm trying to find them a good home soon.

This link has more info on them, but trying to find my 7 older hens a home to save them from getting culled. They have bumble foot and mites, but both are being treated.
