Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Update Please
Couldn’t get anyone to go up there with me last night. So my daughter and I are going up there this evening. Bringing food at the very minimum and will have a crate with me just in case I can locate them and they’re easy to grab.

If they’re there, I’ll quarantine them for a few weeks to a month. A friend of mine in Oregon would like a small flock. If no one claims them, they will have a home :)

Good luck! Can’t wait to hear how it goes.

Buffo and the cheepos are still staying in the pen. She came out briefly earlier and stretched a bit. She was a little wobbly on her feet, and she stayed in the coop and talked to the chicks while she was out. I don’t know if she was calling them to her or not.
The leghorns are almost two weeks old now. I don’t know if they hatched on Wednesday or Thursday before the store got them. The lavender Orpingtons hatched last Monday, and there’s such a difference between them. The leghorns are a faster growing breed anyway, AND they have a couple extra days on the Orpingtons.
I don’t think I’ll ever use a brooder again.

Because mine 9 where more like a week or 2 or 3 have feathers I did not try to give them to a broody .. Put them in the spare room all I know is they where called a color pack she sent me the label from them
