My chicks are at my post office! But they won’t answer their phones until 9:30! Ack!

in unrelated news, my second covid vaccine took about 35 hours to start kicking my butt. My shoulder muscles in the injection arm are tight and sore and I’m having random and painful swelling in one leg. So, less “kicking my butt” and more “just adding to the normal aches and pains”...my blood sugars are running super high as well (almost 100 points higher than normal). GP is acting up...now I can’t eat pork or beef without seriously getting sick.

Hubby is at work (his office is in our family room) talking to all his network engineer coworkers about how to wire up our WiFi enabled chicken door in our coop. . For the record, he claims to hate chickens...but he’s running fiber optic cables out there so he can have indoor and outdoor security cameras on them 24/7!

Chicks are here! They’re in our garage...and hubby is busy hooking up a webcam so we can watch them 24/7 now. . He’s such a keeper.

lost 1 of my Easter Egger babies in shipping, but the other 14 are super active and have all found food, water, and heat.

Thought I might flue vaccine a few years ago prayed to Ralph a full day after (golden throne).
Had three birds leave to a new friend. She has a small flock these three came to me from the member that moved out of state The black beilfelder had a hard time finding her way here

The lady that's going to buy both our Polish hens is coming soon to pick them up. The reason I'm selling them to her is her daughter's favorite Polish hen recently died. She's going to be paying me $60 for both, despite the fact that I said I'd take any amount

Only reason I said I'd take any amount is as much as I like these birds, they're starting to annoy our ducks which slightly annoys our drake. Only happens during free ranging hour. I want them gone.

She just picked them up!
I made sure she knew that the WC Black tends to peck because she can't see and that the BL needs time for her head feathers to completely grow back.

Actually since we're stocked up on chicken and duck feed, all money I make is going towards a wifi camera for the coop.
