Anyone local interested in a silver laced barnevelder rooster? I have someone coming in a few days to cull another young rooster cross that I have, but I'm reluctant to send one of the SLB guys with him. I have two, and I've been debating which to keep. They both have really nice qualities, but neither is perfect of course. They are 19 weeks right now. We are on Vashon.

I appreciate the invite - these boys are still young (16 weeks) and don't have much meat on them yet.

Kind of a worst-case scenario, but we have friends that will gladly turn them into soup. We're hoping to find them a good flock they can tend to, which is proving to be more difficult than expected...
