The stinking rain finally stopped long enough for me to scoop the dog biz up and get the eggs,, boy howdy that was a lot of water

I do not shut doors till 9.. Scraped tables about 2 hours ago.

Wind knocked stuff around here. Only .7 inch so not super bad except that was all in a couple hours.

We had .5 here on the water guide we have.
Sure semed like all in 5 minutes. Was when I went to scrape tables came back out had stopped ..

The moon was so bright when I got up at 4am, It is going to be clear all day, BUT,
suppose to drop down to 33 to 29 over night,
I emptied the woodstove ash this morning, we will get the indoor and porch wood racks fill up today.




It feels like a pancake morning - I am going to go take some blueberries out of the freezer

It was 3 degrees this morning when the snow plow came at 5oclock. I went to my pen and some of my hens didn't get into the coop in in time for the door being closed. I had to bring my Avatar who is almost 9 years old, to warm up by the wood stove. She spent the night shivering in the food box.
She is in an apple box with food and water.
