Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Morning all if the birds will go out do not worry of their frostbite .. So Frustrated this morning trying to make appointments at right aid for the three of us.. The rite aid is in Chehalis. They make you do it by internet. Then won't let us make the same appointment, call it is ridiculous trying to get a human.

Joy - coop door was frozen shut this morning (thankfully not the pop door, which was installed inside and has an awning over it for extra protection). Not a huge issue except I had a few chickens not wanting to come out, plus that's where I put the dry feeder so I wanted to get that in by mid-day at latest.

After giving it 2 hrs to thaw out I ended up taking a blow drier out to the run. Since it was raining I ran the blow drier and cord through the sleeves of an old shirt from the scraps pile, to keep it dry. Took about 5 minutes but finally was able to get in.

Welcome to the thread! What part of the state are you? We’ve had torrents of rain today but I haven’t seen snow. Oh and I see you’re in Omak.
I heard there was a bunch of rain on that side of the mountains. Yeah.. Omak is in Eastern part of the state (you'll be surprised how many people do not know that!).. plus live in the mountians to boot. Heck it was -18F just a few nights ago!

My F150 is lifted a bit. I don't think I can put a plow on mine.

Actually it's hilarious watching my husband get in it. He struggles because I dont have steps. I do need to put some on it because I'm the only one able to easily get in. Bought it off my uncle and he did it. Has slightly bigger than normal tires as well. It's my hay and hauling truck.
You must have long legs. I am short, so hated hubby's truck. It was a used super lifted F150. So glad it died. That thing was a lemon, and I think we spent almost as much fixing it as what he bought it for.
