Thanks for the suggestion. I have never made a decent tri tip. Are you roasting the meat or the tomatoes low and slow?Stew in the crock pot for dinner. Saturdays are soup days. Was able to use my own potatoes. I love that.
I harvested so many tomatoes I think I'll have to can some more. Tomorrow I'll be making tri-tips and I think some candied tomatoes will go well with that. Ever made that with your tomatoes? You roast them very low and slow, 325 for about 2 hours, with a little salt, olive oil and thyme. They turn out incredible.
