The rain just stopped here a little while ago.

Still getting rain on and off so the creek keeps creeping up over the bank. Forecast shows a rainy weekend so not likely to get better any time soon.

Only .45 inch so far today. There are puddles but not too much flooding. It drains fast enough if it's under an inch a day.

(Newbie here) With all the rain - my hens dust bathing spots are wet. Even the ones I put out under their rain shelters. What do you do for this at this time of the year? My rain shelters are cattle panel structures but I left the ends open.

If you want to keep a dust bath dry it needs to be fully closed and waterproof in the rain. My solution:

Dust bath needs protection from rain and from water coming up under from the ground.

The birds make dirt baths in the coop also.
