I took a drive up to the Chehalis Walmart this morning to pick up a few things. I also got a tetanus shot, since my last one was 10 years ago. I've had blood drawn by rusty fence wire several times over the last couple of years.

I caught a mouse in a trap today and gave it to the chickens. They went crazy for it. One has taken control of the roden, but hasn't been able to eat it yet. Must be too big to swallow whole. She's trying to rip it apart but no luck yet. LOL

Mostly dry today. Got a few things done. All the flooding from the heavy rains has drained. It was fairly good yesterday

found an egg in the baby coop just cant decided if the babies have started laying or if someone else snuck in there since no one is using their box ??

LOL - what a great idea! My kids had that as a sand box many years ago.

I see them out on the curb as freebies every so often. I snatched this one up so fast, made my hubby run across a busy road to grab it.

News lied. At least it was relatively short lived.

Yard is fine but the creek just isn't going down.

How old are the Babies? any red to the cones ?

they are 18 weeks so about time.. combs are small kinda red i'll take photos tomorrow they are a different bread than my other chickens wasnt sure if they would lay this year or wait until spring
