Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

This is what a $4 bag of 90 onion sets produced for me. Not bad! I left a few in the garden that were still growing. My 6 foot long rabbit cage makes a good drying platform. The largest onion is over 4 inches in diameter.

Bok choi is sprouting, carrot seeds underneath boards are not, yet. I let two red Russian kale plants go to seed. Should have plenty for a couple years. Rattlesnake beans are over 10 feet tall now.

I need to hire you to come grow my garden next year. :lau

I now have to pressure canners, a manual one and an electric one. I can hardly wait to try the electric one this year. On my glass top stove canning is near impossible and I have to do it in the Rabbit Hole (room in the garage) where I have propane. I think electric is going to make my life easier.

However, I would never get rid of my manual one. It's a good one, and you just never know...

I used B N B in Chehalis Richard ran the line for it.
We bought a scratch and dent stove from them.
Paid a ton less clue is getting the stove set right.
I refused to cook on electric.
Running the line is what I want a contractor to do. Mike does most all the construction projects around here, but I'm not comfortable having propane run to the house without a licensed contractor.

Buying the stove isn't an issue. I'll probably order that online or see what HD or Lowes has. And I'm thinking I'll have to change out the oven too. That's two separate units in this house, but situated one above the other.
