I think I have truffles in my yard. There's one fairly young fir tree that squirrels or some other type of critter dug small, shallow holes around the last two winters. Does anyone here know anything about truffles?

From what I've read, it's the right type of tree in the right kind of location for truffles. And animals digging around it in the fall and winter is a sign that truffles might be growing there.
