Hi WA State peeps. I'm in Seattle. Been pretty cold here.
Wondering if any one else's hens are really slow to restart lay this year?
I have 6 girls ranging from 2 to 4 year olds. Only 1 of my girls is laying!

26 here right now. They are calling for some snow next week, but not much. I'm sure everyone will be at Walmart buying paper towels this weekend.

I hope everyone will be safe and stay home during this scary snowy time for you. Especially since no one has snow tires, not that anyone needs snow tires, we are in WA.

Mine have been predictably restarting. The summer hatched pullets are just starting, too.

Got my 6+ month supply of paper towels and TP a couple weeks ago at Costco. I can just laugh.

I do need another 25 pound bag of sugar, though. That should take us to summer if I don't start baking tons of stuff.

We've been running colder lows and warmer highs than my Mom who's just over the Columbia south of the Tri-cities. It's been rather odd winter for them. Nothing like when I grew up
