Hopefully no snow here tonight. We have only gotten a couple light dustings. I'm good with that. Need to go shopping tomorrow and don't want icy hillside passes to traverse.

DH had a low blood sugar last night about 1 am.
Pure glucose pulled him back then fried 2 eggs.
We all slept till 10.
Dogs where great got them and chickens out.
Sun is out snow is close to gone.

Was able to go to town. Roads were fine and clear except the hillside pass and that was not bad at all. Since we were able to do the shopping I am making chicken pot pie tonight. Needed some stuff for that, such as the crust. I have not ever mastered a pie crust. lol

I got a new bread machine last week. Havent had one in two decades. This one works much better and I can manage it one handed.

Cons are hubby will gain a lot of weight because he loves fresh bread

I think a bread machine is a no go here because I love fresh hot bread! I would be like your hubby and gain a ton of weight. That's not happening.

But I did buy a small rice cooker, 2 cup capacity, that I'm excited to use. It came with some recipes and one is cilantro lime rice. I'll make that to go with our tacos tonight.

@pennyJo1960, other than buying the dough, do you make a chicken pot pie? Mine was too loose and didn't cut like a slice of pie. Is that normal? I'd like it to be a little more firm, and wondered about adding an egg or two. What are your thoughts on it? I'm asking this everywhere. lol

Do any of the stores have chicks yet, like TractorSupplyCo or Wilco? I might go ahead and get another 6 or so this spring, probably white leghorns if I can find them.
