Hi Lynn,
Welcome to the Washington thread! There are quite a few members near Lynnwood, so stay and chat. Sometimes this thread moves very fast, but now during the holidays it's more leisurely.

The show in Monroe is at the Fairgrounds, March 16. You probably saw a post earlier with affirmative replies from several people. The Washington Feather Fanciers do 2 shows, one in the Spring, and one in the Fall in Chehalis. I was at that one just last month. It's a great place to meet people from BYC (as well as many others), see a gazillion breeds, and purchase hatching eggs and birds of various ages. I'm hoping to pick up 2 girls myself. I've decided I would much prefer to buy from local people that I can meet and talk to, than mail order or feed stores. If you haven't started your flock yet now is a great time to do research, ask questions, and get ready.

Here is Frodo, doing very well! She ate all the mealworms I got for the other chickens for Christmas, will have to get them more!

My friend gave me the beautiful chicken photo that is keeping her company.

This is her little setup, next to my chair. No cage needed =)

So glad she's doing so well!! You're a good chicken mamma!

Well I found the name of the artist, Ben Austrian! He dose a lot of awesome chicken paintings. I did find a picture of the one I saw on that show last night but it was so small there was no point.

I know this will freak out a lot of ya'll, but as I sat here looking for the pictures I thought I had a hair down the front of my shirt and it was bugging me so after about 5 min. I reached in to get it out and turns out it was a stupid spider. Dang thing you don't belong there. Apparently he bit me to, what a stupid head. LOL

Uhm ... are you sure ......uhm never mind sorry to hear ya got bit by the spider !!!

My at home computer kicked me out of BYC and lost my password and although I have requested password recovery/requests for a new one several times I've NO response from the admins. Nothing in my email, I've checked my spam folder, but no response of any kind.

I'm at work and no one else is here right now so I snuck on to let you guys know I'm still around, just unable to log on from home! Our work computer still has me logged in, wahoo! But I don't see any way of finding my password from my member profile either or changing it without knowing the original!

It's been very frustrating to say the least. I just send Nifty Chicken a personal message to let him know of my dilemma. Hopefully I'll get a response from him.

Did you by chance "clean up your computer, or run a program that was suppose to? Sometimes cookies are wiped out. No cookie, no site". Also if at work is recognized by BYC it's possible that it won't respond to your home computer. I'm no expert, just throwing out ideas.

PacaChick.... Welcome to the group!  Sounds like you have a lot of great animals, I love alpacas, their fur is so incredibly soft and they're SO cute!
