Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Well,my Grandson decided he likes the chickens. Went in and gathered eggs with me this morning and he is only 2yrs old. I love him so much. :) I came into my Sweethearts family 10 months ago and his 2 yr old grandson has latched onto me ever since. We are babysitting him today and he has been such a joy. Me being as young as I am has lots of people scratching their heads but I absolutely love being a "young Gramma" and my grandson loves gathering eggs with me whenever he is here for the day. He even is trying to say "chickens" and was excited when I had him look in the nesting bucket to find 2 eggs!!!

Sounds about right. My parents are 55 and 53 y/o and have 8 grandchildren between the ages of 1-8. Nobody believes them when they say they have 8 grandkids! LOL But my mom was married at 19 and had 2 girls by 22y/o, and my sister and I started young too. It's great being a young parent or grandparent...easier anyway. You have the energy to keep up with them!

Those are the only two I know about except Cree Farms, but I don't think they have any Wheatons, blue or otherwise. They are in Seabeck, but will usually meet at the Kingston ferry. Their birds are beautiful, but maybe a little skittish and wild. :D  You can google their name and check out the website. But Royce and Jean are probably your best bet. Royce should be at the show. Not sure if Jean will make the trek over here or not.

What show, and where? Or where can I find the when's/wheres? As I am hoping to find and ameracauna too, as well as a welsummer to round out my group
Thanks :)

There is a show at Monroe's Evergreen State Fair Grounds March 16th I think.

Washington Feather Fanciers Show, Monroe Fairgrounds, March 16. Several of us are planning to go. Royce (tailfeathers) raises both of those breeds.

Thanks Kim, I looked up Cree Farm and they don't do any wheatens. Rats because they are very close to me.

I post from my iPhone a lot. When you are typing in the "reply" box, there should be three buttons in the top left corner. The one on the far right is the photo button. When you hit that button another screen should pop up that says "Embed an Image" and it gives you the option to either upload an image or embed from an URL. Hit the "upload from my device" button. From there it asks if you want to choose an existing photo or take a new one.
