I think it hhas turned. TOday I got to take DW to town so I could be all lady doggie like to people in my way.There really is a cure for stuppid fools. Its called a lead injection and I give them fior free!!

Flour works well too. I have even used DIRT in a desperate move. See it was a rush trim of goat feet at a show. The judge was really coming down on feet. Well I was hurrying to get all my goats and a friends trimmed. I quicked on and nobody had anything to put on it so I stuck it in dry dirt to get it to clot then wiped it off. Yes not the best but some times ya gotta do what ya gotta do!!! FYI the goat never had any problems related to the dirt. But I don't recommend it unless ALL else fails.

I thought YOU would be excited about the Crele, but I agree the silver and blue laced are great.

I love Crele, but Crele is much easier to make...Silver laced & Gold laced, any lacing color is much harder to "Make".....it is very exciting and thanks for posting...and where did you find that article anyways ???

Yay, the second chick hatched last night. So I have a Blue/Buff Orpington(SR) and a Blue Opr/BR pullet(no barring)

I will try and get a quick photo later today. They are so stinking cute and small. And one already pooed on me. Momma was ok with me handling them too.

That's what I was wondering - Cocoa and Rocha are looking cockerel to me. They are both lighter. And Cocoa, who wasn't pictured, has a slightly redder comb. Gosh, I wish I could keep them and see what they'd look like as roosters with huge face muffs. I'll be sad if they are boys, because they are just too cute. Their face muffs make them look like they have a big smile all the time. And they are sweet and funny when you get them away from the others and they aren't in "protective" mode. Both Cocoa and Rocha are extremely protective of Blackie and Latte when I'm reaching into the brooder. When I'm not reaching in - they spar with them, but, you know - just like kids, the chicks have got to quarrel with each other.

ETA: I don't think they have a pea comb. It looks like those in your picture. Fudge was the dad... what would that make?

Hard to say at this point, usually a pea comb dominates standard comb, but bred back to a standard...I guess it could go either way !

ON YOUR PHONE You should be able "create message" then in the "recipient" type your complete e-mail address. insert pics (one per text message). send. OR text them to my phone and I will e-mail back to ya.
