LOL I dunno, the name has kind of stuck. I love having funny names in the flock, and if I changed hers I might have to change Butter and Masala.

I'll hold off for now and see how she treats the silkie and Polish when I add them. If she can be nice, she will earn a new name. And now I have to think up a nice name based on a chicken dish. Hmmm....

That is what I did with mine. 6"x1/2" bolt and 8" lawn mower wheels with the steel hub. My tractor weighs a few hundred pounds as it is all 2x4 and Plywood framed. 4'x4'x10'

This is exactly what I have on mine too~ lawnmower wheels and  6" bolts, through the frame.  I have 4 wheels on it so that I can just push it (in a straight line) if I need to rather than lifting it.  It's too heavy for me to lift it by myself more than to pivot it, to turn ;)

Thank you!  I'm not sure how much mine weighs but it's stinkin heavy!  I just might get two more wheels to save the back, and my sanity. :)

Ack,.. I told you the wrong thing! I actually have 8 wheels on my coop. Two on each corner. So it goes wheel, wood frame, wheel, with a long bolt and nut, on each corner. One wheel on each corner didn't work for me.

Hmm, that's a good one. But not very feminine. But then again, I have been calling the blue silkie "Murray" because she looks like the character on Sesame Street.

since the NEW BYC stuff, I haven't been as drawn to this site. I only have a handful of subscriptions and my two favorites are Stella's Social Club & Washingtonians (new one). Too many threads getting closed because someone decides to start trouble. I don't think they care about chickens at all or people just want to bully and the internet makes it so easy. After all this time still way too many problems with the new BYC that don't get fixed.

I love Fudge and I love your dog. Your pink mask gave me the courage to 'come out,' as a part time conehead- it makes people smile. Please don't let troublemakers drive you away - then they WIN.

CR  we all know that is Fudge, he is one special rooster.

Well I was  mostly setting the record straight about the spelling. and figured I would mention it for the many new peeps starting to understand why I am not so drawn here anymore !!!

I was wondering why I haven't seen much o_ you lately. I can never see enough of FUDGE! I will PM you soon to set a day t come meet and visit you soon!

I love Fudge too! keep sharing CR!

Well, Lucy is still broody and hasn't come out yet today. I don't want to encourage her to either, since she stayed off the nest too long yesterday. I can't wait for the chicks to arrive. 2/12 is the date! That will put her broody for 25 days I think, which isn't too bad. It's not a short 21 day sitting, but that's OK.
