I am just so sad. I am losing my rooster "Arnold". He is just a year old and was fine a week ago. Now his color is really bad and he is really weak. One of the other roosters died in the fall. Usually it is the girls that have problems and the boys live for ever. And the girls are fine so far. So I am perplexed. I am taking him to Dr Bruce tomorrow to have a necropsy done to see if they find anything contagious or congenital or anything.

Haven't had much to say lately but I appreciate everyone helping me figure out what to do with my soiled scratch and BOSS. I'm going to bring the container in re house and leave the lid off and stir it daily to get rid of the moisture. If it begins to mold I will freeze it.

I've been working on a purple tunic dress for DD as well, busy hands can't type much!

Hey- went to check on the humidity in my inCOOLbator this morning, which is supposed to be completely locked down, but noticed the thermometer was sitting right on 2 eggs, and needed to be shifted. I quickly re-arranged it and shut the lid again. Then I noticed one of my blue eggs was rocking- as if to say "I'm here!" . I tapped on the plexiglass window and it rocked again. It knows morse code! ha! Raising SMART chicks here

We're day 20 here, so I know atleast ONE of my little Who's in WhoVille is going to arrive son!

Jessica Sorry I didn't see how much wet feed you have but here's a couple ideas. spread it on cookie sheets and set near heat source or or in the oven on lowest setting.
