Do you enjor city life or country life? It's really as simple as that.
See, I can enjoy both! That makes it so hard
Thank you for the input! I have heard wonderful things about LeavenworthFor our honeymoon last year, we did the downtown Seattle thing, and also the quiet resort/BnB thing, and I enjoyed the quiet away-from-the-city part better, just my two cents. I found it a lot more romantic to just spend time together away from other people and the bustle of everyday city life.
Also, we spent the first night of our honeymoon in Leavenworth and it was lovely!

If I order 2,200 - there's no need to be shy about getting some. How much I'd need from you depends on how many of the cartons you want. I'd be happy to give you 1,100 of them at .25 ea.![]()
Oh I wish, but there is no way I would have that much money for that many cartons. I really could only do about 100 of them at that price. Sorry and thanks anyway.
Quote:Thank you. I can't cook as in meals of any kind really, I get this weird anxiety when I look at recipies. I get flustered and my head spins, then I get confused even with step by step instructions right in front of me. But with Baking, I have no problem.![]()
I can't find the picture of the wedding cake I did, but here is a pic of DS's cake that I did last year for his B-day.
No, I am so sorry that happend. Man I hope those eggs hatch for you and that you catch what ever it was that got your broody. So it's been a bad morning. A predator got my broody last night. It got in through the one gap in the corner between the fence and netting. Or at least that's how it dragged the broody out. It ate her head, guts and breast. I think it was a weasel of some sort. I saw scat the other day out in the field and the dogs didn't treat it like coyote.
Today was 2 weeks on her eggs, I'm not sure how long they were without heat. I put them under the silkie who had just went broody a few days ago since her eggs were infertile. Hopefully both eggs with hatch.
That is a really hard one. I would say number 2, but I also don't know your DFH and what he likes to do. But is sounds like there might be stuff for the both of you to enjoy. Plus I LOVE Leavenworth.Washingtonians Come Together! Washington PeepsWashingtonians Please Help ChickAudie Plan a Wedding!
There I fixed it!!
Ok, so maybe obviously, with five kids, baby chickens and full-time job, I have no social life. DFH (like what I did there? Dear Future Husband) DOESN'T GIVE A RIP about this whole thing. He's happy to show up and be the reason for a kickarse party. So when I say I need help with the honeymoon, I have very limited resources to valuable opinions and could always use extra "IMO"s.
There are two options that we have:
1) Luxurious hotel suite in downtown Seattle, two night stay with a lovely Argosy dinner cruise and all the attractions of the city, mearly 45 mins from the reception; or
2) A two night stay at Abendblume B&B in Leavenworth (two and a half hours away), where they boast horseback riding, river rafting, wine tasting and peaceful sweeping country views. As seen here http://www.abendblume.com/index.html
GUYS! CHIME IN ANYTIME!
Quote:OOOOoooo yeah, I like this option too.![]()
WOW! You have great cake making skills!! I know, I wish we could squeeze in both, but I have a feeling we are going to be exhusted! We both love the country, we would both enjoy getting dressed up and hitting the town.....I think we are going to lean more toward the B&B, but Lord Gracious knows that I will probably change my mind 100xs by tomorrow....
