We picked up some Cochin eggs over the weekend hopefully we have a good hatch.I have bantum cochins just love them. No rooster tho.
will put up some pics I took today, the 3 SS in my avatar have really grown.
TC Yes your new girl has been with fudge for 3 weeks so her eggs could be fertile. I am glad you like her.My New Chicken!
This morning I went over to CR's and traded him one flighty little blue pullet for one of his dark egg layers (cukoo Marans). I hope CR is as happy with his new girl as I am with mine. Wondering though, was she exposed to Fudge or would her eggs be infertile. Just curious.
Oh, and Amelia has been covered by our Barnevelder should you want to incubate any of her eggs. Saw him doing it yesterday![]()
Thank You. I found it on the fair website. I still debating on if I am gonna try and make it or not...I know I am probably way late but ....... Monroe is Saturday only. Judging starts @ 9. How long the show goes depends on how long it takes for judging to be completed .
Told you so. Wish I could see them before we leave. But can't. So cute.![]()

I think the road is called Snoqualmie river road. I would say about 22 acres of the property are agricultural. All ready to be planted on and everything. Some of it is already planted. No way I will be able to farm that much land, so we are thinking (if we get this one) about offering to lease some of it to one of the many farmers in the area and the rest will become space for animals and a small crop for us. Thanks for the heads up though.FM. Where in Duvall is the property you looking at?
Make sure you look at the property taxes.
If it isn't already look into getting it at least partially qualified for agriculture.
Otherwise you'll eventually be taxed out of your home like so many around here have been.
Very sad when I go do work at someones home they are getting ready to sell cause they can't afford the property taxes anymore so they have to sell. They buy the place years ago never dreaming this would happen to them.
