Thanks. He's turning out to be really easy compared to other puppies I've raised. today is day 2 of having him and NO accidents. he is younger then I would like, but they were sending all the puppies to homes. He's 6 weeks old.
he rides in a crate in my van without whining at all. Just sleeps the whole time. At night right now i cuddle with him because movement wakes me up but noise rarely wakes me. I don't want him to learn to pee/poop in a crate.
And he took great to the raw diet. I think it's because he's so young.


Just wanted to add having fresh eggs works out perfect for feeding a puppy raw. I save all my egg shells and then put them in a blender til they are powdered and coat his meal in it. He's to small to eat the bones so he gets his calcium from egg shell and goats milk.

Very nice. Easy is good no accidents is Awesome! Puppies can be challenging but they are so much fun to have around. He's gonna grow up to be a great D.O.G!!!

Commercial milk has been heated up so much that it's been ruined- and the natural enzymes that God put in it are gone, leaving your body no way to digest it. I used to cramp up within 15 minutes of eating at mcD's, finally said ENUF!.

I think it had less to do with god, and more to do with the enzymes present in the body of the cow.

I have been a quilter for 10 or 12 yrs now;  There is a quilt group on BYC that does swaps occasionally, but we could do a WA swap.  
Also, there is a quilt show at the Fairgrounds same day as the chicken show.  I plan to do both.

. I'm new to quilting so I'm so going to look for it. COOL

I don't post often but I do read most of the thread. I have always enjoyed your comments - leave the WA thread? Are you crazy?

It is so rare today to see a family that is well run and committed to bringing up enjoyable children. I think that you are successful because you are always doing something for your children and you genuinely enjoy their company. I think the other thing that is positive for your children is home schooling. That is so important. So many kids in public schools these days are so mean and disrespectful. We had a few of them when I was growing up but a few trips to the principal's office stopped that. Now all they can think about is how to not offend the offensive child and their offensive parent(s), Geez... better stop now....

I can remember the fear in grammar school of being taken into the teachers lounge and spanked. Not the fear of the spanking but the shame of being taken in there. Agreed, this was the 1950's but we had a lot less gangster types in school. I was never taken into the teachers lounge. No one wanted to go there.

absolutely right Kate- I was over simplifying. We're a society that produces almost exclusively commercial A1 milk, which is more "allergenic",and more reactive. When I grew up, we had dairy cowd that were guernseys and jerseys- they produce A2 milk. That is hugely important. No where in the world do they use holsteins for milk like we do in the US.
