I need some gardening help....
I split (a little hap hazzardly...) a very sweet lil plant lookin' a lil like 'dis... only with bright pink peddal tips that go down into a light/bright green. A lot like a ground cover/grass...She don't look to good (honestly the reason I haven't added the final coop pics). I have a red thumb that isn't the best for things with roots, anybody have ideas how to help?

Alright, I should be getting my roo Rodney tomorrow. I think I will give him a bath before I apply Eprinex. This may be a dumb question, but how should one go about bathing a chicken? I've washed dogs before, but since feathers are quite different from fur/hair, I wasn't sure if it should be approached another way. Thoughts/advice?

I saw an awfully cute BO hen in the main chicken barn and decided that he needs a friend during his month-long quarantine period.

I have begun roost training my babies. The little critters have been sleeping in the nest boxes. I just went out right before the supp. lighting turned off to make sure where they were, waited a minute, and nabbed them from the nest boxes one by one and put them on the roost with the big girls. I put them pretty far away from everyone else though so they should be fine all night. They were sure screaming at me though! Hopefully they'll figure it all out soon. I might need to switch the supp. lighting to early morning instead though, because right now they all roost from about 8:30pm until 10pm with the lights on, then out they go. I think the big girls were chasing away the little ones during that time. Maybe if they all get up on the roosts at dusk and have no time to fight with lights on, the babies will be able to stay up there.

Also took the 13 day olds out in the yard for the first time today. They stood stone still for 5 minutes before moving anywhere! I think they were scared, but got over it quickly when they realized they were real chickens. Pics to come in a minute from my iPad.

Just stopping for a fast hello. Going through all the motions of buying our new home. Got the House and septic inspections done last Friday and then today was the Well inspection. All of the came out perfect! No problems.

So I added all the pictures I have of the house to my page. Some maybe a bit out of place and slowly I will go through and label them.

Hi everyone, hope ya'll had a great Easter day and every day there after. I will hop on more when I am able.

It looks so light and bright. I am sure you will enjoy making it your own.

Have you watered since splitting? Try a light household fertilizer also.
