Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Making turkey for dinner; I burned my finger on the roasting pan, so now I have to drink scotch and soda.
(keep the finger on the cold glass to stop the pain. Well, that's my excuse)

Do ya need help with that ???

I have new babies too. Here is a picture of the 5 survivors. the last one to hatch died 2 days after hatch. Usually I have eggs hatching days 20 and 21. This time I ran the temp, 1/2 a degree lower and the humidity higher. They started hatching day 22 and finished day 25. I think I'll go back to slightly higher temps next time. These are Breda fowl from eBay eggs

I totally forgot the last batch of babies are hatching out so I won't be able to stay at Portland over night. Got to watch the babies.
The dula is on standby duty.
Can anyone help me bring a goose egg back to the greater Seattle area?

I can get it for you if you haven't found someone yet.

thanks for the info; now how do I find a vet who works with chickens for this?  I would look into the vocal cord procedure but want to know more about it.     Anybody know a vet?  thanks.

There is a poultry vet in Bellevue at crossroads vet who is a poultry specialist named Bruce Singbeil. He is very nice to deal with. I have taken my chickens to him several times.
