Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Ok everyone.

When one person says something about his/her faith, a belief in a god, he/she is automatically denying someone else's faith if it's different from yours (unless you believe in ALL gods). So, in the interest of peace in the community, how about we ALL agree NOT to discuss god or lack thereof. It might be better to pm someone if you know they need uplifting, and you know they are religious, and you want to offer religious support. This way it won't offend others from a different faith, or no faith.

Worth a thought.

If I may say something being only part WA. I have lived there 5 yrs sometime ago.
Maybe we should have a understanding like my extended family has for Thanksgiving and other family dinners.
NO religion or politics are spoken, to prevent fistfights and unhappiness in general.
My 2 cents.
While I DO have my own beliefs. In 4 years, 2 months and 6 days on this thread I have not revealed them. I have no intention to now either. But I do strongly agree with the three posts I quoted above. In my opinion for what it's worth I feel that may be the easiest way to avoid hurt feelings etc.
I really like this thread and don't want to leave but the religion stuff (on both sides) has got to the point that I am not far from walking away. Maybe that would be best and maybe some would prefer that?

That's a sewing machine - it is a machine to sew stuff. I have a Singer - ... You say Serger, I say Singer -- /shrug

Did you take me literally? Hope not. I know it's a sewing machine but is a specialized sewing machine and I was just poking fun at Kate.

Hey! You got a corgi too? Pembroke or cardigan? My Maddie girl is a cardigan, and she herds my birds, too. Neither she nor I has had a lesson, but every night she rounds 'em into the coop. I think this summer I'll take her over to Ewe-topia in Yelm for some proper lessons!

Will herd anything. Bunnies, ducklings, robots...LOL
No lessons needed.
Also toilet trained himself.
DH's dog...I would prefer a non shedding doodle.

My last dog got murdered. She was a teacup chihuahua size of a dollar bill.
