When I worked retail, it would annoy the heck out of me. Even now I still get bugged from time to time when people stare. I remember when I went in for a job interview and was so nervous that it would show up and I'd be asked about it. On my first day, I told them I had sensitive skin so I might just randomly welt, turned out the boss's wife has the same thing. Thanks to the internet (mainly facebook) I have found others that have it so I don't feel as alone or feel like I'm a mutant. The main bright side is that I never bruise though, always welt

It is so good to know you are not the only one !

I was keeping Honeysuckle Hills company. She has a broken foot and is bored sitting around not doing anything.
Oh darn I hope she gets better fast,,,, no fun in the snow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was (HA HA) Glad I had ripped my knee apart in fine weather, as we live on hillsides and in snow crutches ARE NOT FUN AT ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speed Healing for Honeysuckle Hills !

I'm cooking a venison roast right now, and it's not for the chickens!
I finished the butcher on the last quarter yesterday............and now it is late modern~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So guess where Einstein is now ????
Yup, out in the bush, binocs around his neck, .270 over the shoulder & nite vision specks on...GEEEEEEEEEEZE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is an excellent shot, and it takes me 2 weeks to process.

If you leave RIGHT NOW, you may just make it in time!

I tasted it, and WOW, it's good. I thought it would be gamey, but it's not at all. I'm doing it in a water bath so that it won't get overcooked.
I told ya....we out here have the greenest grass, no sage, so the deer are just about taste free, like grass fed beef.
Eastern Washington is sagey, so the Mule Deer out there (althougth gorgeous) are sagey-gamey tasting.

Snow shall be here tomorrow or the next day. Are you guys prepared for winter and what do you do to prepare? Also what things change about daily care in the winter. Sorry I'm a soon to be first timer and just want to know as much as I can to have happy healthy birds haha
