Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

We moved from Ventura (about 60 miles from L.A. and 40 from Santa Barbara), a beautiful place to live.
So nice to see that there are others so close to me!
We came up form T.O., not far from you! We have been here 8 yrs and 4 months. No regrets, and I hope the same for you.

Hey everyone! i've been reading a lot fo the forums and the prices people pay for there feed seem to be far better than mine. so i was curious maybe if it was a location thing.

i'm from the kitsap country area and have been buying my layer feed from cenex for 20.60 for i think a 20 lbs bag. i'm seeing people say they get 50 lbs bags for the same! am i being had or is it just the price of feed in this location???

no i'm not buying organic, i hopefully plan to if the price difference really doesn't matter. i just noticed that payback has an organic line. that's not what ive been buying though. is organic more expensive?

I buy 50 lb bags of non-GMO, no-corn, no-soy organic feed for $19.99/bag here in Enumclaw. That's top of the line best stuff you can get. You should be able to find your feed cheaper. Just regular plain old layer feed is something like $13.99 per 50 lb bag of the 'Excell' or 'Dells' brand. I hope you can find something cheaper, sorry you're having to pay that much!

#1 where are you getting organic for 19.99/bag? #2 Where are you getting layer for for $13.99/bag? I am paying between $16-$18 for a 50# bag of Dels brand or Payback. Organic runs about $35. If I could get organic feed for $20/bag I would make the drive across the valley. Although no corn now soy.. what does that leave? lol

I feed Flockraiser and its $18.99 for a 50 pound bag normally at Coastal. Just bought a months worth of it yesterday.

Coastal gives a discount to military active and retired. So it cost us $17.09 a bag. I can't remember the price over at Graham Hay Market, but it's only a few bucks more a bag. I go there ifwe araren't going up towards Auburn when I need food.
