Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I been thinking I would like some..how are they for you?
x2

I've had them for 3 years. Getting them at first was a challenge and then getting correct color was too. Now that I have an all cream flock it should be smoother. The chickens are delightful. Great personalities and easy to keep. I've had a few aggressive roosters that got culled. The boys I have now are sweet.
Yours have a lovely egg color FC. These have been on my list, which has grown a bit too long with "wants". Will you be selling chicks this spring if I decide to get them?

Hey guys... I'm thinking about getting some chickens! What types do well out here? Also I want GOOD layers!
I'm using trial and error to figure out what I like best. Last October I picked up 2 black australorps, a barred rock, speckled sussex, and a black star. None of them are laying yet but they're getting close.

I picked up a rooster last week. A blue English Orpington. I had no idea how big they get. He's a monster compared to the girls.

If you want good layers, so with a red star. I have a couple that have laid every day for months. I turned the lights off in the coop hoping to slow them down. I think one of them is finally molting since she took two days off so far this month.

Hi JulesChicks,

I love to hatch chicks and usually offer a few for sale each year. PM me if you decide you want them. We can work something out.

POULTRY SHOW: HEADS UP FOR ALL YOU POULTRY OBSESSERS, I was just told that there is a little poultry show on valentines (tomorrow) at the Clark County fairgrounds (20 min north of Portland off I-5 in Ridgefield/Vancouver WA). It is apparently ran by 4-H and there is even an auction. I don't need any more chickens but something tells me I'll come home with another or some more. I was also told to bring a crate or cardboard box because you have to contain any poultry you purchase (they don't provide one for you.)
