SO! My fiance mentioned he saw a loose chicken in this one neighborhood, and I saw her today! I knocked on someone's door and they told me she was wild. I only live a few blocks away, so my out-of-shape butt peddled back as fast as I could and grabbed a box and some mealworms and headed back down but she was gone ;(. If she belongs to someone, of course I want them to know. The people who's door I knocked on said she got hit once by a truck. If no one claims her I wanna bring her home so she can be safe! She almost looked like a golden laced wyondette? I didn't get a good look though I was too busy having an excitement attack >.<

Basically there is a "wild" chicken down a couple blocks from where I live. By the time I saw her and went to get a box and meal worms she was gone. Looked almost like a gold laced wyondette

Showgirl is the nicest of the things that we call him since he started spurring us and trying to kill my silkie roo. Usually it's something derogatory about the way his neck looks! Took me two years of skulking on CL to find one, turns out to be a roo AND a jerk!

That's the insult he gets for being called a "show girl roo"  which is in itself an insult to the cockerel chicken...poor guy, imagine ! Then the womwn's poo on ya !

I sure have been collecting roosters lately! 3 new ones since March.

only time I see something like that in our birds is frostbite or injuries from getting to other roosters, unless there's a mite that looks like that

Oooooooo I rather like the brown one - Chocolate? He's pretty I would so enjoy that little guy in my flock
