Sweetie beans! We'll be venturing into rabbits in coming years, and have quite a few wild ones out here, but I am also going to get guinea fowl. They will hunt the rodents and destroy the nests as well. They are also excellent for getting tics and spiders and what not.

Last week I was outside at night using a flashlight to find one of my ranging rabbits. Saw a small rat, near coop. Did not find rabbit that night. Next morning I found the rat dead in front of coop, it's only wound was small punctures in lower abdomen like my rabbits have been known to give. Researched it and found that rabbits can and do kill rats! Yay!

Anyone in Olympia/South Sound area have a few pullets they're interested in parting with? My mom just finished her garden coop and is trying to figure out what chickens to put in it.

Laughing... so we are only about 5 minutes drive apart. We will have to get together. You didn't happen to be at our garage sale on one of the two past weekends????

Oh no... I saw the ad on Facebook. but I can't do garage sales. I have a problem with ... stuff. (Think: Hoarders). But at least I know I have a problem, LOL. I can't go to a garage sale unless I am shopping for a specific item, and then I have to only get THAT item, and then leave.
