Is there such a thing as a chicken growth chart? I just got these 8 small LF breed chicks, brown Leghorn, Ancona, EE, blue Hamburg. About how much will they weigh at one month, two months, three months? I think I'm going to need to expand my brooder, just need to know how much and when.

My version of a growth chart:
400

This is how fast they grow in 2 weeks

They double in size each week for the first 6 weeks. And their space needs grow accordingly. After 6 weeks, their growth rate starts to slow. By 8 week, they should be feathered in enough to be outside, regardless of the weather.
At 1 week, they need about 1/4 sq ft each, at 2 weeks they need 1/2 sq ft, at 3 weeks 1 sq ft, and so on.

Hey everyone

Is anyone bringing pullets or hens to sell at the show at this weekend? I am looking the help out a friend so breed really isn't important but I know they want LF or at least larger bantams. I also have a 6 week old LF Cochin cockerel I can bring if anyone is interested in him. He's blue ( slate shade) that I hatched 2/4/16. Hope to see many of you there!

I'm new at having chickens (mine are only 1 month old), but really 2 "Feet" deep of shaving inside the coop! isn't that too much and much higher then the chicken themselves?

could you have meant 2 "inches" ?
ok my brain fart...... more like 6 inches I change it once a month but
do a pick up daily

Battle Ground area:  We have two 1 months old chicks fully feathers, like to moves them in to their coop.  Is the weather still too cold for the two of them (only have 2)?

Weather been dropping below 40s.  The coop does have a heat lamp with timer, we do turn the lamp off so they can sleep at night.

I raised 5 chicks this winter in my garage and turned off their heat after they were 3 weeks old. I was so worried about them since temps were in the 30s but they survived and did just fine... But I kept them in my garage and there were 5 of them to keep each other warm... Oh and I threw some old blankets in there too. I think they're a lot hardier than we think they are.

Oh wow, we can bring chickens to sell there without having to register or anything? Sorry not familiar and have never been to one... Was going to try to make it.

I think I may have seen those chicks at North 40. No guarantees though. (Spokane Valley, WA)

edited to add:

and by chicks, I mean poults (sorry, I don't have turkeys yet)
