i use to have Light Brahmas that layed every now and then when theyPenny, good luck with egg hunting! I had some that were so surprised by their first eggs they layed them right in the middle of the run. Same bird a year later; I couldn't figure out where her eggs were. Eventually I figured out that she had found a notch and was laying along the rafter. The 'egg eater' I had been pursuing was nonexistent, it was just her eggs falling from above and smashing on the floor. Ahh, fun times...
