Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Set two dozen silkie eggs. We'll see how many I get out of it. Someone should still be broody when they hatch.
I am going to let her grow up she is only like 6 months old
you probably saw the Gena offered me a real broody but I think trying to
bring a new adult in would be even tougher. I do have my first hatch
but believe only the little blue is the pullet the two black are cockerel.
the other eggs in bator did not hatch think maybe I had it set wrong
going to place two eggs only see if I can get them to go

Thankfully the chickens dont need a lot of attention. Unfortunately hubby does. Lol.

So Ashes got me in the face with one of his wing claws on accident again. He was just trying to steady himself with a wing. His claw just happens to be rather sharp. I'll have to file those little things down.

Hi fellow Washingtonians! I posted a what breed question 6 hours ago and didn't think it was a super hard question....but no one has responded.
Could you guys have a look?

Thanks!
Guess it's age, if it is youngish, like 4-6 mo old, and it is about 8 or under pounds, and has dark brown eyes, I'd say maybe a Java.
If it is youngish like 4-6 mo old and it is larger, like 8+ pounds, it well may be a jersey Giant.
But both of these breeds are rare to just have "around" and no one knows where they came from, leading me to believe they are 'mutts'...but "mustard soles" are a classic sign of Black Java...so see how big it gets, and that will be the clue if it is a Java or JG.
