This is what I feed BABIES...not always medicated, I can add Amprolium to their water, and often do, in which case I feed Unmedicated Chick stater so they do not get overdosed with Amprolium.
So this is baby food

This is what I call GROWER chick feed, it is for growing on birds, or as we call them, Started Birds:
So at about 2 months old, to about 1 year old, they get this awesome feed:

I include this for your comparison:

I include this for your comparison also, I do not use any Purina products unless I absolutely have to...seriously all this scratch has in it is corn & wheat & SOYBEAN OIL !

DuMor Layer from Tractor supply:

Paybacl layer pellets from Bi-Mart...my birds prefer, but they will eat DuMor from Tractor supply...

So I use the regular chick feed, then the 24% chick feed, then go to layer ration after the growth spurt.
I add scratch from Payback, which has 5 or 6 different grains, and I cannot find a tag.....it has 5 grains and NO SOYBEAN OIL !
But here is an ad:

Who did you get your Silvers from? :drool. They are on my dream list... I need to get my Wheaties going first. But if I ever have more room, Silvers are top on my want list. I just got 2yards of wood chips and shoveled them into the chicken run. I really like it so far, their feet are all clean and the run is dry. They were in a poop soup after all that rain.

I hate mud I have two pairs of one partial rubber leather and one rubber pair of boots
used them both in the slop created need to clip some wings so I can let them
run in the garden with just 4 foot field fence
