I had never heard of the feed sack method til she said it and will be doing it also thinking darn what a great ideaMy raised beds are made with just plain 2x12s. Nothing fancy and cheap to replace when they eventually need it. I'm planning on using feed sacks for potatoes this year. Haven't tried them that way yet.
I need to get off my bum and get a bed prepped and peas in. I have hoops and netting to keep the deer out this year
I have such deep dark dirt where spread shaving last year I will start maybe 3 with a bit of dirtI've only done grow bags on tomatoes before. Potatoes are supposed to work really well. I have enough feed sacks to do it.
I'm thinking of trying to loosen up the raised beds with some straw this year. Pulling out the wheat and oats isn't an issue for me
sure cucumbers and cantaloupes even watermelons and pumpkinsI use my tire beds for crops that like a more heat than we typically get here on the coast. Good for peppers and cucumbers.
Has he been shaved? or did he shed his fur off? Hansome guy. where is the pic our your lady GP?
