Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I'm glad we got new tires on hubby's truck yesterday. He'll have to drive to work in this crap tomorrow
We did put new one's on the front about a month before we moved here
took those front put those on the rear... any vehicle needs good tires or not worth a crap

It actually melted a little here today. The chickens were out in the yard all day :) there was enough ground to be seen that they decided they would risk it. It's so funny that they won't walk on the snow. At least if it's too deep they won't. It's about an inch or two deep out there in spots and they don't seem to mind that too much. I sure will be glad when spring gets here and it greens up a little bit for them.

The silkies won't step onto snow. The big girls don't care really. Had to cut the net off the big girl pen. The kennel panels were almost sideway from the wet heavy snow. It needs a new net anyway as the old one was tearing and rotting anyway. One that has bigger squares. The snow mostly goes through the one on the silkie pen.

Hi All,
I'm in Enumclaw!
right now we are having a huge snow storm. We have 6 inches and it's still coming down.
Anyhoo, I am day 2 with 3 day day old chicks. They are in our house, under a light in a big tub, surounded by a puppy gate to keep the cat out.
I have always wanted chickens but finally we live in a fowl friendly area.
I'm loving how much they have grown in 2 days. Wowza!
Hello and goodnight,
