Yippee! Finally, all eight chickens in the coop. No bloodshed, no serious fighting. Ashes is front left.

I have all full sized birds in my main coop so have that taken care of leaving the new coop just to Silky land ... actually bought these two small birds very young small from the feed store 12 miles up the road they did not grow much still black touch of white under the wing laying not quite banty size but not monster size like most of em are blue eggs

With them being hatchery birds, could be any mix. Do you know what they were supposed to be?

Easter eggers come in all different shapes and sizes.

Here's hoping those eggs get bigger.

Side note is that all my pullets still aren't laying adult sized eggs. Should be soon for the stragglers.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with those partridge hens that are carrying 2 copies of lavender. I've had several people ask if they could buy them off me so I may need to breed them to different roosters this spring then cross the offspring next year to get more.

They are very pretty but so not an approved color for any breed.

But, it is fully reproducible now that I know what is going on with them.
