Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

We have nice fluffy snow coming down none of my birds came out this morning Richard goes out to open their door the snow fluff is covering more than it did the other day did not have snow under the trees day before yesterday but had to warm up to snow

For having such nasty weather, there sure isn't much action here on BYC.
Maybe people's internet is out or power is out ?
Still snowing here, sometimes little flakes, sometimes big fat ones.
Trying to melt but snowing about as fast.
Good day to make a big pot of soup.....what was that soup you made that time @penny1960 ?

According to acu weather we will have a snow possibly through the end of the month here
can always go get my eggs from the post office in the side by side with James

You have all the snow over there just cold on the east side, waterers all were frozen except for the heated ones I need to spring for a couple more of those they make life easyer.
You put your water fonts inside or out ?
I bought a couple of flat warming mats (for small animals) and I can grow seedlings on them, or set a water font on, or put them in a brooder tub full of baby chicks.
I got them from Dr Fosters & smith, cheap, 25 watts each. have you seen them ?
And watch out, this white stuff is blowing ENE ! Maybe coming your way !

here is the same on e-bay:

That’s a good idea I might give that a try. I have some waterers out in the main run one is heated but I have some others in grow out pens in the barn, normally barn ones are ok but it’s been around 12 in the mornings and they froze solid. Birds were fine though. Thanks for the tip
