Weather wasn’t as bad as expected it snowed hard for a couple hours last night and blew. Then just flurries off and on still doing that. Still a mess needs cleaned up. It looks like it’s going to be cold here through the end of the month. Chickens have been holding out on me got 36 eggs yesterday Marans kicked out 15 eggs that’s new.

Penny1960, It is an hour later and we have no snow to the west of you. We are near I-5 exit 88 where Highway 12 takes off for the coast, twenty miles above where your portion of Hwy 12 joins I-5.

just FYI to tag a person @ is first ... ours seem to melt almost as it fell it has turned quite warm this evening just took dogs out and closed silky then the pop door on the main coop

Hope everyone survived the crazy snow ok!
My girls are happy to finally get out of the coop and free range!

....all except baby...she is lethargic again...I brought her inside but this time she is not even interested in food or water...I have no clue what is wrong with her. No signs of respiratory issues or coccidia. No signs of being egg bound...I'm not even sure she is a hen...I feel like she isnt really growing...

At this point I kinda wish she would either make a full recovery or pass....unfortunately with our new son due in less than a month we cant really afford to take her to a vet to see what's going on...TT_TT
