Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

My own crazy white dog got in the chicken yard today 2 of crazy lakenvelders one in the garden against the fence, one outside the fence both laying like dead walked up they are find third laying in the grass on her side lifted her she snuggled in with a little peeps appears was in dogs mouth one scrape no other wounds just soggy but been drizzling all day here

There is more to do around here than I can keep up with taking care of the chickens, the garden is producing every day im loaded with veggies, a lot of mowing grass and spraying weeds. By the way all the kittens are lap kitties now even Mr mean Dexter he is still the the one that stays back away but I can grab him and do what ever with him.
Can’t you shoot the coyotes? That’s what I would do. I love animals, but I’m not going to let them eat my chickens. If you don’t want to shoot them I’m sure it’s easy to find somebody that will.

I did my anger on it dog hid about 2 days then sidled up to me I still am top dog here
she knew her goose was cooked

That’s to bad Penny I’m lucky there Wally would never touch a chicken other than a sniff. He actually likes them until he lays down and one of them pecks his toes then he jumps up and moves off, it’s pretty funny. The stupid chckens keep pecking and eating the hell out of the rhubarb leaves, it doesn’t seem to hurt them though.

Well she did it again got in there Richard thinks she bent the wire at a corner :idunno
there are no birds harmed but two missing as it is the lakenvelder I am not surprised
have never met a more flighty bird but not outside the fencing or in the garden undecided how to approach the dog at this point Richard brought her in after I closed the pop door when I saw her go in there most the older girls are under that walnut trees two cuckoo marans on a branch of the walnut trees all of the sex links and new marans plus the EE cockerel I am raising where in the small yard in the corner
