I was deep in depression last couple years and when I met Riley he said help me help you. We both needed each other. 2 weeks in he told me he dont touch chickens no more they count on me. I never thought a chicken could do so much to a person. They gave me more than I can give them, so I thank y'all a ton. We are a farm, but we are only sell to friends and such right now. Its just us chickens

I know what you mean about chickens. They helped me when I was grieving the loss of a son. It was a tough time, and too long a story to share here, but my chickens have given me a life and a reason to get out of bed in the morning. They are hugely entertaining, and there's just something peaceful in just watching them hunt and peck.

Sorry for your loss, and grateful to hear you share the same experience from the chickens. I am bad bc I went to a dinner tonight, and all I wanted to do was share pics. People come by and say they haven't found me in a week (no phone). I usually was in the henhouse or in the hatcher area. I watch movies with the babie chicks.

Ha ha...that's why we come here. So we can talk incessantly about our chickens!!! Even the chicken owners I know aren't interested in my chicken stories! But, I can't stop talking about them!!
