Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Hope this rain slows down for all of us, but especially you!!! Hope all is well with the house!

So nice to have normal, mostly dry days now. And it looks like we survived the flooding (https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...shington-peeps.717207/page-4706#post-22195540) much better than I anticipated. A foundation specialist come by today (he said he also lives next to a creek that flooded, so he knows what flooding creeks can do) and was surprised that there was no sign of flooding in our foundation. He didn't even charge for the visit.

So I just need to fix the walkways, which is just going to be a lot of manual labor moving gravel, and we should be completely back to "normal."

I sure hope the they are right. The week will be dry ? ... I do not take a ton of faith
on the weather understand it is better now they understand more

Yeah I know weather reports are usually off, but they're at least usually pretty good about forecasting extreme or unusual weather conditions. Current forecast looks rain free until Saturday, but we all know that can change at the drop of a hat. It'll be nice for the lawn to finally firm up again, still mushy in parts.

The green egg is from one of my 9 year old hens. The old biddies are laying about once a week right now.
